Custom Art
In addition to being a visual artist, Francie is a writer, public speaker and journalist – skills which allow her to create a unique type of custom art, capturing the essence of people, places, companies, organizations and events. These are not portraits but you will recognize the subjects, portrayed in words and images based on interviews and research. For Harry Truman, for example, it might be great to do a riff on “THE BUCK STOPS HERE” with a butterfly-shaped dollar bill landing on the Stetson hat that was a favorite for the haberdasher-turned-president.
